We’re really excited to be launching a new range from McGuigan – ZERO. This is a range of alcohol removed wines; a Sparkling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Shiraz.

The award winning brand McGuigan, 4 Time International Winemaker of the Year, are Australia’s Low/No Alcohol wine experts, with more than 20 years’ experience. Years of planning and testing have gone into the preparation of creating the highest quality Alcohol Free Wine. Using modern techniques, these wines have been crafted with the latest low temperature technology to retain delicate fruit flavours.

Timing could not be better with the growing trend towards lower alcohol consumption and growing consumer engagement in lower alcohol products across all liquor categories.

McGuigan ZERO is an alcohol removed product. Put simply, a wine is made and then the alcohol is removed using Spinning Cone Technology before bottling. These wines have an alcoholic content of 0.05% - so as close to 0.0% as any wine will get. McGuigan have produced a fantastic package that communicates clearly and simply the ZERO alcohol message to the consumer.

The global reception to the launch of ZERO has been massive and we anticipate New Zealand’s reaction to be no different.
