In 2023, Symington Family Estates - one of Portugal’s most renowned wine families - joined forces with acclaimed Vinho Verde producer Anselmo Mendes to form the Mendes & Symington partnership. Rooted in a long-standing relationship and shared commitment to quality, this collaboration brings together two wine pioneers to develop a premium wine programme from the esteemed Monção and Melgaço sub-region, at the heart of the Vinho Verde DOC in northern Portugal.
