The Brown family has been established in the Padthaway region for over 40 years. Located south east of Adelaide, the region is characterized by its Terra Rossa soil, soft artesian water and a mediterranean climate. Which was an attractive prospect for founders Donald and Glenda Brown, who planted their first vines in 1970.

A successful producer of premium grapes, Browns of Padthaway have been a trusted supplier for larger wine companies. And in the year of 1995, the Brown family decided to release their own wine label. The distinct taste of their wines are a result of geography, climate and winemaking enthusiasm.
