Hunter's
Hunter's is an independent, family-owned winery established in Marlborough over 30 years ago by Ernie and Jane Hunter. Hunter's picked up six gold medals at the National Wine Show from their very first vintage in 1982 and have won 200+ National and International Awards to date. New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs first sparked the eyes of International wine drinkers when Hunter's picked up the top award at the Sunday Times Wine Festival in London in 1986.
Through Jane's strong determination together with the support of her talented nephews and brother-in-law, Hunter's has expanded their original vineyard area immensely and has an annual output of 100,000 cases of wine of which nearly 80% is exported.
