Lustau

Emilio Lustau SA was initially founded in 1896 by one of the original Almacenistas, Don Jose Ruiz-Berdejo y Veyan. Today, they are considered the global standard-bearer in top quality Sherries. In the 1980's, their novel idea of bottling the Almacenista Sherries separately came to life. This was done so that the fabulous quality of these wines could be appreciated by all instead of being blended away.

Lustau's commitment to combining tradition, innovation and the pursuit of higher quality wines have accompanied Lustau from its humble beginnings. Lustau has been awarded an array of impressive International awards, including the “International Wine Challenge Fortified Winemaker of the Year", 11 times since 2002.
